Job satisfaction can be simply defined as the aim at which employees have a positivist feeling to their jobs (Agho et al. 1993, p. 1007). Another exposition by spector (1997, p. 2) emphasises that the term job satisfaction should include both positive and negative sides (Spector, 1997, p. 2). In this case, the term job satisfaction explicitly points out that the job satisfaction is a continuum with entirely cheerful and not satisfied at all at the two extremes. Importantly, job satisfaction can be the outcome of the employees general perception of the job as a whole or specific feeling towards variant aspects of the job.
